Greetings everybody! My name is Honour. I began this blog to share my story and help you in yours. Being authentic is crucial in life. It allows you to live freely as your true, strong self.
Focussing on what made me strong:

Before when I thought about my life, my mind often wandered to the struggles I faced. When I had social anxiety, stress and depression. All of these struggles weighed heavily on my shoulders. From them, I developed low self-esteem, self-worth, and a lack of self-love.
Now, as I look at my life, I remember those times. However, I choose to focus on the strength, patience, and commitment I gained. And the people in my life who helped me through my struggles.
There is still water in your cup even if you aren’t the one doing the pouring. There were times when my family kept me afloat and stopped me from sinking. Through their faith and love, I gained strength to fight for myself.
My motto is keeping it real. I will be honest with you. It wasn’t an overnight solution that helped me. It took time, and it took me being honest with myself, accepting responsibility for where I was. I had been focused on the bitterness and hurt from others for too long. It became a prison for me. I hated that feeling. There was a lot of self-sabotage happening that I didn’t recognize until after. That realization helped me massively.
Self-reflection
It helped me to journal my thoughts and work through different guides, gaining control of my life again. I had to commit to the process which required Patience, Determination and a Willingness to succeed. The further along I came, I discovered things about myself and found different triggers like rejection, discounting and control. From each of them I could see a pattern from the struggles I had faced.

Labelling the Struggles will make you strong
People say labelling the problem doesn’t make it go away. That’s true. However, identifying each individual struggle will help you to overcome them. You have them captured, then comes the hard work.
Every barrier you overcome will make you strong, emotionally, mentally and physically. As you put in the effort to transform yourself and become the authentic, courageous and strong version of yourself.
